“All cruelty springs from weakness” – Seneca
As we reflect on the world today, it seems inescapable what horrors we are living through. The American Empire, boldly displaying its tyranny on every news station. People incriminated for simply existing, not fitting into the status quo, and the future seems bleak.
We must remember in these trying times that what goes up must come down, and these are these are the inevitable cycles of mankind. We know this story too well, megalomania will always meet its end, perhaps not fast enough. But by studying what has come before, the future of this end is also inevitable.

Why am I bringing this up?
In these challenging times, we must come together as a community. Inner rivalry will get us nowhere, otherwise the grand master and his puppets will prevail!
Strength is in our numbers and our art is political, our songs are political, our dance is political!
Sicilian
Ccà sutta, ‘nta stu nfernu, puvireddi Ah, nui simu cunnannati a tirannia!
English
Here below, in this hell, poor things Ah, we are condemned to tyranny! For in the mouth of the wolves are the lambs Ah, weep for us, weep, oh my mother!
Tyranny plants its heel upon us Ah, abuse and power tramples and lays low! For every nation that lands on this earth They amuse themselves with us, always like the Turks (meaning cruelly; a reference to the Ottomans)
Always the rich oppress us to our faces Ah, we are forced to drink bitter gall And if our boat (our destiny) continues like this Ah, better that we should go to the gallows! Ah, better that we should go to the gallows!

“Tommaso Aniello (29 June 1620 – 16 July 1647), popularly known by the contracted name Masaniello (Italian: [mazaˈnjɛllo], Neapolitan: [masaˈnjellə]), was an Italian fisherman who became leader of the 1647 revolt against the rule of Habsburg Spain in the Kingdom of Naples.”

Be outspoken, be loud! Change the perception of the world and the people within it with your art. Plant the seeds that will grow into a fruiting tree of knowledge and not a tree of ignorance and death. Fighting tyranny comes in many forms, speak up, speak out, speak loud! Create, inspire, move people emotionally. Change cold and bitter hearts, melt them. Take care of yourself, your family and friends, give them solace and community, give them a voice and hope in times of hopelessness. Beat rhythm into their hearts to fuel them and empower them in the face of adversity, they are going to need it.
A final message from the Donne di Fora
““Satellites” will fall soon, the winds are rejoicing in death, the king is only a puppet for the grand master, and through torment the shift in awakening will come”
